What are you studying?
In the first two semesters, the focus is on tasks and requirements relating to the topic of e-government. The basics of programming, technical computer science as well as business administration and the fundamentals of law are taught.
The third and fourth semesters are spent in practice. In the training authorities, the theory of the first year is deepened in practice and the first projects are accompanied up close.
Between the fifth and seventh semester, the focus is on analyzing and solving administrative problems. This is accompanied by the basics of scientific work, which prepares students for the challenges of the Bachelor's thesis in the eighth semester.
Which university are you studying at?
The theoretical training takes place at the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. The dual study program Administrative Informatics - E-Government (B. Sc.) is assigned to the Faculty of Communication and Environment and takes place at the Kamp-Lintfort campus as a block model.
How long does the training take?
The course comprises eight semesters including the practical sections, which corresponds to a total duration of four years.
How high is the training allowance
The basic candidate amount according to salary group A 10 Landesbesoldungsordnung NRW (LBesO) is € 1,405.68 (for 2024) and family allowance, if applicable.*
